My first two novels are published.

I released my novels for publication today. The paperbacks are still being processed, but the ebooks are ready. Creating a fictional world and characters is a birthing experience—a labor of love. Letting go can be difficult.

I feel like I took my characters to the bus stop. I double-knotted their shoes. I made sure they had everything they needed. Their faces at the window seats tried to assure me not to worry - they were going to be fine. As the bus lumbered away, they watched me wave goodbye. Their expressions held promises that they weren’t really going anywhere.
